As a kitchen assistant you support the preparation of meals and dishes in the kitchen of an aerospace organization!
Your working day starts at 7 a.m. and you discuss with the boss what needs to be done today. Everything is freshly made here, so you start every day by cutting the different vegetables. Then you do other common mise en place activities. The buffet opens around 11:30 am and colleagues come to get lunch. Lunch lasts until about 2 pm, during this period you will receive +/- 1000 people. After the peak of lunch, you and your colleagues clean up the kitchen / workplace and make sure everything is clean again so that you can go home around 4 p.m.
You will be working for a caterer within a large organization. They prepare all kinds of tasty dishes with fresh ingredients that they prepare for the employees during lunch time.
