Do you have a technical aptitude and enjoy working with modern CNC machines? Then this is a great opportunity to put your technical knowledge into practice and further develop your skills.
As a CNC Machine Operator, you will ensure that high-quality metal components are manufactured accurately and in accordance with the required specifications. You will be given a high level of responsibility, as well as plenty of opportunities to develop your skills within a professional engineering company.
You will work full-time on a two-shift system. One week, you will work Monday to Friday from 07:00 to 15:45. The following week, you will work Monday to Thursday from 15:30 to 01:15, giving you Fridays off every other week.
Due to an additional project, the company will temporarily operate a three-shift system until August 2027. The shifts are as follows: Night shift: Sunday to Thursday, 23:00–07:00 Morning shift: Monday to Friday, 07:00–15:00 Afternoon/evening shift: Monday to Friday, 15:00–23:00
No two days are the same. You will start your working day by reviewing the production schedule and setting up the CNC machines. You will read technical drawings, adjust the appropriate tools and ensure that the machines are properly prepared for production. You will then program and operate the machines while closely monitoring the production process.
Using a range of measuring instruments, you will carry out quality checks on the components throughout production. This ensures that every product meets the required high-quality standards.
When things do not go entirely according to plan, you will take the initiative. You will resolve minor machine faults independently and actively contribute ideas on how to make processes smarter, more efficient and more effective. Your technical aptitude and attention to detail will make all the difference. Naturally, safety always comes first.
What makes this role particularly attractive is the opportunity for continuous development. You will have the chance to attend courses and training programmes to further expand your technical skills. In addition, this is a long-term position with the prospect of a permanent contract.
This is an excellent opportunity to not only start working in a technical role today, but also build a long-term career in the engineering industry.
Are you ready for a technical challenge where you can take responsibility, continue learning and work with modern CNC machines? We would love to hear from you!
