As a seed germination laboratory assistant, you are responsible for setting up germination tests. This involves placing a precise number of seeds in trays with the correct amount of water. This can be done manually or using a vacuum pump. In addition, you are responsible for some administrative tasks related to this process (e.g. recording when the seeds were placed and when they germinated), and you must be able to document this information accurately. Therefore, it is important that you speak and write Dutch or English well.

It is essential that you work in a precise and hygienic manner. Accurate data handling and keeping the workspace clean to prevent cross-contamination are extremely important. Occasionally, some light to moderate lifting may be required.

An affinity with horticulture is a plus, but not required. You will be part of a small, close-knit team that is happy to support you.
