As an order picker, you will work in a modern logistics environment where chilled and frozen products are stored and distributed to various customers. The majority of your day will focus on picking orders using a scanner and a Warehouse Management System. Around 70 percent of your work consists of order picking, where speed and accuracy are essential.

In addition, about 30 percent of your time you will operate a forklift and reach truck. You will move pallets, replenish picking locations and ensure goods are stored correctly within the warehouse. If you do not yet have a certificate, you will have the opportunity to obtain one through the employer.

You will work in a three shift system with working hours from 05.30 to 14.30, 09.00 to 18.00 and 14.00 to 23.00 or 00.00. At the start, you can indicate your preference for two shifts, and planning will be aligned with this as much as possible to provide structure and clarity.

You are responsible for ensuring a smooth and efficient logistics flow. You check products, make sure orders are complete and ready on time, and work according to FIFO and LIFO guidelines. As you will be working in a chilled and frozen environment, appropriate work clothing will be provided to keep you comfortable.
