As an accounts payable employee, you are responsible for the timely and complete processing of incoming invoices within the financial system. You post (cost) invoices to the correct accounts, VAT codes, and cost centers. In addition, you keep an overview and ensure the accounts payable ledger is accurate by analyzing payments and making accounting entries. This position offers you plenty of opportunities to develop yourself further within a centralized European Finance department in a dynamic sector. You will work 32 to 40 hours per week with flexible working hours and have the chance to attend trainings. The position is long-term with the prospect of a permanent contract.

You start your working day by processing incoming invoices and checking the accuracy of the data in the system. Throughout the day, you are the point of contact for colleagues with questions about bookings or historical invoices. You process expense claims, prepare specifications for the monthly closing, and set up payment batches. You monitor the progress of payments and ensure everything is handled on time.
